According to media reports on July 20, Trump posted a 45-second video produced by artificial intelligence on the “Real Social” platform.
In the video, Trump’s old opponent Obama was pinned to the ground by agents accompanied by the infectious rhythm of the classic campaign song “Y.M.C.A.”, and finally wore an orange prison uniform and was imprisoned in a mess.
Trump was laughing from ear to ear. The video caption is even more meaningful: No one is above the law.
Why did Trump suddenly “kill” Obama?
At this time, the American political arena is facing two storms: Tulsi Gabbard’s explosive accusations against the Obama administration, and Trump is deeply involved in the “Epstein Gate”.
“Russia Gate” reversal: a belated justice, or a carefully designed revenge?
In the 2016 election, Hillary Clinton unexpectedly lost to the political novice Trump. The Democrats could not accept this result, so they waved the accusation of “Russia interfering in the election.”
Over the next four years, the House Intelligence Committee spent tens of millions of dollars investigating, and finally concluded in 2020 that there was no evidence that Trump colluded with Russia.
But the Democrats could not accept this result, and the media continued to exaggerate the “Russiagate” until the end of Trump’s term.
But in 2025, Trump made a comeback and US-Russia relations suddenly thawed.
At this time, Gabbard, the Director of National Intelligence, threw out a “shocking evidence”: before the 2016 election, the US intelligence community had reached a consensus that Russia had no intention of interfering! But after Trump won the election, the Obama administration forced the intelligence agencies to “re-evaluate” and fabricated the lie of “Russian interference”!
This accusation instantly ignited the anger of the Republicans.
Brennan (former CIA director) and Comey (former FBI director) were investigated by the FBI, and Ratcliffe (current CIA director) even named them: “Brennan may be involved in illegal activities!” Democrats denounced this as “political persecution”, and Obama’s office remained silent.
But here comes the question: If the 2016 intelligence assessment was “Russia is not guilty”, why did the Obama administration forcibly overturn the conclusion?
If it was really “falsifying intelligence to launch a coup”, then isn’t this the most serious political scandal in American history?
But what’s even more ironic is that the people who led the “Russiagate” investigation were precisely the officials who are now under investigation – Brennan and others once held high the banner of “justice”, but now they have become the targets of hunting.
Isn’t this absurd? When power changes, the identities of the investigators and the investigated are instantly reversed. Who defines the so-called “justice”?
Is the Trump administration digging up the old accounts of “Russiagate” at this time to reveal the truth, or to avenge the hatred that was encircled and suppressed back then?
Speaking of Gabbard’s “shocking evidence”, is this a belated “justice” or a carefully designed lie?
US Director of National Intelligence Gabbard threw out “more than 100 documents” and accused the Obama administration of falsifying “Russiagate” evidence in 2016 in an attempt to overthrow Trump.
She claimed: “The intelligence community originally determined that Russia did not interfere in the election, and it was Obama who ordered the conclusion to be tampered with!”
But the question is: If the Obama administration really forged evidence, why didn’t the congressional investigation find it?
If this is a “historic coup”, why did it only come to light nine years later?
What’s more ironic is that Gabbard herself was appointed by Trump, and the source of her “evidence” is precisely the intelligence agency controlled by the Trump administration.
In addition, while accusing the Obama administration of forging evidence, she turned a blind eye to the US surveillance scandal revealed by Snowden, and even refused to define Snowden as a “traitor.”
This kind of “selective justice” makes people ask: When intelligence agencies become tools for partisan struggles, how credible can the so-called “truth” be?
In this regard, Democratic strategist Bates hit the nail on the head: “Trump needs enemies because his approval rating is declining!”
In fact, while attacking Obama, Trump was embroiled in a scandal because of the Epstein case – the 2003 birthday letter, the phrase “beautiful secret”, was like a thorn in his presidential throne.
So, everything makes sense: when Trump’s approval rating drops and Epstein’s shadow looms, he needs to create a bigger enemy to divert public attention.
Obama, one of the most popular presidents in the history of the Democratic Party, naturally became the best target.
Epstein incident: Trump’s “secret” and the art of diverting attention.
If the “Russiagate” reversal is an open gun, then the Epstein incident is Trump’s hidden arrow.
The deceased “lustful rich man” has a list of “Lolita Island” involving countless dignitaries, and Trump’s name also appeared in the official investigation materials – in 2003, he personally wrote a birthday letter to Epstein, ending with: “Happy birthday, may every day be another beautiful secret.”
This sentence has now become a time bomb within the Republican Party.
Due to the improper handling of the Epstein case, the Trump administration encountered opposition from within the party, but Trump himself bit back: “This is a lie concocted by the Democrats!”
But when the Wall Street Journal threw out the congratulatory letter and the ridicule of “beautiful secrets” went viral on the Internet, Trump’s defense seemed pale and powerless.
So, the Trump administration chose a “classic path” – diverting attention.
Now, Trump shared the AI video, and the picture of Obama’s arrest was accompanied by the line “No one is above the law”, which instantly ignited public opinion.
The Democrats denounced the “low-level rumors”, while the Republicans cheered “justice has come”.
But can this drama really cover up the doubts in the Epstein incident?
When Trump avoided talking about Epstein, did he forget that he had vowed to publish the client list after taking office during the 2024 election.
When Trump held high the banner of “everyone is equal before the law”, did he forget that he was the one who left his handwriting on Epstein’s list?
When Obama in the AI video was “legally sanctioned”, would Trump in reality dare to disclose all the details of his dealings with Epstein?
Perhaps only he knows the answer.
But what is certain is that this wave of operations successfully shifted the public’s attention from “Epstein’s secrets” to “Obama’s coup”, and Trump’s “diversion method” worked again.
In addition, Trump’s deeper motives are:
First, to retaliate against the Democratic Party and consolidate the foundation of the Republican Party.
“Russiagate” was once the “killer weapon” of the Democratic Party to suppress Trump. Now that Trump is in power, he retaliated by accusing the Obama administration of “falsifying intelligence to launch a coup”.
This move can not only severely damage the reputation of the Democratic Party, but also provoke the “victim sentiment” of Republican voters, stimulating their impulse to “fight back in kind”, thereby consolidating the Republican base.
Second, practice “America First” and reconstruct the political narrative.
Trump has always advocated overthrowing the Washington establishment, and the reversal of the “Russiagate” case is a continuation of this concept. By denying the “political correctness” led by the Democratic Party, create “Trump-style justice”. Under this concept, the personal stains in the Epstein incident seem to be insignificant in front of the banner of “America First”.
But the question is: when political struggles become a ridiculous game of “you hit me, I hit you back”, when the state machinery is used as a tool to attack political opponents, how far can the “beacon of democracy” in the United States shine?
When the “Russiagate” case reversal collides with the Epstein incident, when AI fake videos become political weapons, the ending of this drama has long been doomed: there is no real justice, only the change of power; there is no victory of truth, only the carnival of public opinion.
The Trump administration may be able to temporarily divert attention and may be able to strike the Democratic Party’s arrogance, but what cannot be concealed is that the cracks in American politics are deepening and the public’s trust in the government is collapsing.
And those “political nuclear bombs” that were thrown may eventually blow up the United States itself.
So, when Trump wrote “No one is above the law” on Twitter, he might as well ask himself: Is this sentence for Obama or for all American people?
The answer may be hidden in Epstein’s congratulatory letter: “May every day be another beautiful secret.”
And for American politics, this “secret” may never be revealed.
